Education Program Manager

You as an International Education Program Manager will join the energetic and rapidly growing team. With a strong focus on customer enablement and growth through education, you will be a key enablement partner for customers all over the world.

An ideal candidate will demonstrate a proven ability to build and grow scalable programs, tools, and processes to drive customer growth and productivity with an effective knowledge base, training materials, enablement programs and team management. It is equally important that the right person fits into the company culture.

This permanent, full-time position will oversee the development, implementation, program review, evaluation, and ongoing monitoring of the practice experience program.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the development of the practice experience program;
  • Develop and implement the practice experience program in collaboration with the E-Learning Instructional Designer;
  • Coordinate, develop and maintain technological systems such as the practice experience program portal, website communications, online forms, and other reports to ensure excellent program ongoing delivery and service;
  • Ensure the smooth running of the practice experience program which will require the execution of a complex, multifaceted, structured planning process which has many detail-oriented tasks requiring attention to time-sensitive, often overlapping details and scheduling considerations;
  • Participate in the recruiting of assessors who will evaluate students in the practice experience program;
  • Oversee the onboarding of assessors to ensure consistency in evaluating students in the practice experience program;
  • Communicate directly with students registered in the practice experience program, assessors, and others to facilitate the planning and execution of the practice experience program;
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and recommend revisions to ensure the practice experience program is current;
  • Oversee the evaluation of the practice experience program and write reports for multiple audiences, including Management, the Board, and federal government;
  • Serve as the support person for students in the practice experience program and assessors;
  • Address and resolve problems related to the practice experience program;
  • Maintain a good rapport with students in the practice experience program and assessors;
  • Oversee the evaluation of assessors and bring any issues to management’s attention;
  • Maintain an updated project plan aligned with the department’s annual and quarterly operating plans;
  • Contacting the local schools and IB schools for more cooperation opportunities and more education study.

Job Requirements

  • Master’s degree in English Education (e.g., certificate in online learning and development) or bachelor’s degree in relevant field;
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation would be an asset;
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in developing and managing international education programs;
  • Proven experience and considerable knowledge of experiential learning;
  • Ability to interact professionally and respectfully with others;
  • Strong initiative and self-managing skills;
  • Strong interpersonal skills in order to interact with individuals in a wide range of situations;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong critical thinking, judgement and analysis;
  • Contribute to a collaborative team and be comfortable developing solutions in a fast-paced, interactive manner;
  • Experience in creating and managing project plans and budgets;
  • Experience in managing multiple projects within a complex project environment and lines of business;
  • Bilingual (English/Chinese) is a strong asset;
  • Understanding of or past work experience with a regulatory body is an asset;
  • Understanding of or past work experience with an organization involved in international institutions is an asset.
