Sales Development Representative

Due to growth in the European area, our client has a vacancy for a talented Sales Development Representative in the Netherlands. The position will report directly to the Sales Manager. The client company was founded in 2011 and is headquartered in Beijing. In total, spread across the world, it has more than 10,000 employees.

The goal is to set up the entrance to Europe via the Netherlands. The Sales Manager has a large network and wants to share and use this to create a serious place of business.

The Sales Development Representative is an entry-level sales position focusing on engaging prospects across many industries. You will engage retailers to learn about today’s dynamic e-commerce landscape and supply chain.

Responsibilities

  • Research key contact information to provide reports for sales representatives to engage prospects;
  • Design and support key trade shows, appointment coordination, meetings, etc;
  • Produce sales’ reports semi-weekly based on manager needs;
  • Provide administrative support to the sales team, ensuring all processes are implemented effectively and standards of performance are attained;
  • Work as part of the team for current and future sales’ automation plans.

  • Strong presentation skills, with excellent written and verbal communication;
  • Analytical skills with the ability to work with teams to resolve customer issues and conflicts;
  • Self-starter and self-sufficient, with balance of drive and respect;
  • Ability to foresee future issues and manage challenges of a changing business dynamic;
  • Strong, outgoing personality with highly developed interpersonal skills to deal with the numerous personality types;
  • Operate at the highest level of ethical and legal business practices and follow the company’s code of conduct;
  • Undergraduate degree is required, graduate degree preferred;
  • Chinese (Cantonese) language fluency and working proficiency in English are required.
